At Cornerstone Dental, we believe everyone should have access to affordable, professional dental care. From routine procedures such as fillings to complex treatments including implant crowns, we provide a number of payment options so patients can minimise out of pocket costs and ensures you receive access to the dental treatments you need and deserve.

Bulk Billing

To help ease the financial pressure dental procedures can sometimes bring, Cornerstone Dental provides bulk billing to patients with a DVA Gold card or for those who are part of the Medicare Child Dental Benefits Scheme.

Medicare Child Dental Benefits Scheme

The Child Dental Benefits Scheme is a dental benefits program for eligible children aged 2–17 years that provides up to $1,132 in benefits over two years to the child for basic dental services. You can confirm your child’s eligibility by visiting Medicare online at www.my.gov.au or calling our reception staff at Cornerstone Dental on 07 3172 3651 to do an online check over the phone. You also may have received a letter from Medicare outlining these benefits in the mail. This is a great provision so don’t let it go to waste, call us today!

Pensioner discounts

Here at Cornerstone Dental we are proud to accept outsourcing vouchers for those on a waiting list for public dental treatment in the Metro South Oral Health. For more information about eligibility for any of these services, visit https://metrosouth.health.qld.gov.au/oral-health/eligibility

Those eligible must hold one of the following concession cards:

Pensioner Concession Card issued by the Department of Veterans’ Affairs
Pension Concession Card issued by Centrelink
Health Care Card
Commonwealth Seniors Health Card

Payments plans

For extensive treatment, payments plans tailored to your needs are available.

After assessing your treatment needs, your dentist may discuss options to stage treatment over time. Fillings may be done over a course of several months in order of priority, allowing for gradual payment of your full recommended treatment over time and several visits.

We understand unforeseen circumstances can arise and major dental may be needed immediately, so to help ease the burden we are happy to arrange payment plans to suit you and your circumstances. Conditions do apply so please call us so one of our friendly staff members can help you with this.

National Dental Plan

National Dental Plan, part of Certegy Ezi-Pay makes high quality dental treatment more accessible. With NDP you can start up to $9000 in treatment today and spread the cost over easy-to-manage fortnightly payments. Best of all you never pay interest on the amount that you owe.

Simple application process
National Dental Plan’s application process is simple and efficient and only takes a few minutes to complete. You need a bank account or credit card in your name we can debit from and must meet our basic criteria:

18+ yrs, Australian citizen, permanent resident with driver’s licence
Employed/self-employed 30+ hrs or an Aged/Veterans pensioner

Low Patient Fees

Patients pay an establishment fee to set up the account, fortnightly payment processing fees and a monthly account keeping fee. The establishment fee and payment processing fee are spread over the term of the payment plan. Plus patients can make additional payments or pay their plan out early with no payout fees.

Once off establishment fee of $70

Fortnightly Payment Processing $2.95 + Monthly Account Keeping $3.50

Private Health Funds

Here at Cornerstone Dental we offer the convenience of HICAPS, Health Industry Claims and Payments Service, so that if you are in a private health fund you can claim your rebate on the spot to minimise out-of-pocket expenses. This ensures patients receive the maximum refund with the minimum fuss.

Veterans Affairs

We are proud to offer convenient access to dental and prosthodontic services for veterans, war widows and eligible dependents. Department of Veteran Affairs (DVA) cardholders receive all the benefits of bulk billing without a gap fee. For more information about DVA cards and their benefits, visit www.dva.gov.au.

Workers Compensation

If your dental health has been compromised by a workplace-related incident, you may be eligible to claim workers compensation towards your dental bills. All you need to do is provide Cornerstone Dental with your employer’s name, contact details and a claim number and we will take care of the necessary paperwork for you.
